What am I working on right now?
At LMD, I am working to design a set of compounds capable of inhibiting the entry process of Andes hantavirus.
And, of course, the AI hype came with a news article.
Some of the things I have done
- smiles, A viewer for SMILES and RL output from REINVENT and the Nearest Neighbor Algorithm; I use it every day
- I worked on the design of 10 potential antivirals against Andes hantavirus. They are currently being evaluated under biocontainment.
- I received honorable mentions in the Arcade challenge at Platanus Hack. I also took part in the hackathon, but we did not do well.
- I competed in the 2025–2026 ICPC Latin America Regional Contest. My team placed ninth in Chile and 163rd in Latin America.
- I completed a research internship at BaFoP, where I focused on identifying and characterizing persistent lineages of Salmonella enterica in Chile.
